Taster Days – Industry Days – Market Days - Open Days
MEGT Institute operates a range of ‘career and transition programs’ in conjunction
with a variety of Local Community Partnerships (LCPs) in NSW.
We offer Taster Days where participants are given the opportunity to gain information
and knowledge about MEGT and their area of interest.
Child Care Taster Days
Child Care Taster Days provides students the opportunity to gain valuable information
on a range of career opportunities and education pathways within the Children’s
Services profession.
Students learn hands on skills that give them a “taste” of what being a Children’s Services provider is like in the real world. In addition to the hands on skills, students create useful learning resources designed for children aged from 0-5 years old.
Hospitality Industry Days
Hospitality Industry days are hands-on events where participants interested in hospitality learn from industry experts and engage in practical learning activities.
Skills and knowledge in bar flaring, mocktail mixology, coffee art and making are experienced by all who attend.
Industry experts from a range of hotels and other hospitality leaders are on hand to show participants how rewarding a career in hospitality can be.
Business Management Market Days
We understand how difficult and daunting trying to figure out what you want to do with your life can be. That’s why we give you the opportunity to expand your career and study options by attending Business Management Market Days.
MEGT staff and industry professionals are on hand to show you how a career in business can benefit you. You can answer all those questions like, what you can do if you complete a business course with MEGT.
Tourism Industry Days
The tourism industry is constantly growing and gives you the opportunity to broaden your horizons. Our tourism industry days allow you to gather all the information you need to make the decision that a career in tourism is for you.
You will have to opportunity to talk with real people who are passionate about the tourism industry. MEGT staff members are always on hand to answer any questions you have regarding our Tourism courses.
MEGT Open Day
MEGT Institute conducts an Open Day at its Sydney Campus. The MEGT Open Day provides students the opportunity to gain valuable insight to the full range of courses offered by MEGT.
Representatives from the Australian Apprenticeships Centre (AAC) and Group Training Division are in attendance to answer any questions in regards to apprenticeship and trainee opportunities.
A range of activities and presentations from industry leaders as well as information about career options and articulation pathways is what makes the MEGT Open Day a day not to be missed.
