Transport & Logistics

MEGT Institute recognises that the transport and logistics industry provides a range
of services that are critical to the Australian economy, and have therefore included
a range of qualification for this industry within the services we offer.

We cover two areas of expertise - Logistics Operations and Warehousing and Storage. 
Logistics involves moving, storing and handling freight from a start-point to an end-point
and is embedded into all facets of the transport function. Training is provided from
Certificate I level which introduces broad-based skills through to Certificate IV where
the role is more complex, including leadership of others, organising workflow and applying and contributing to technical solutions.  Warehousing and Storage provides specialist skills and knowledge in areas such as stocktaking, import and export documentation, quality control, managing emergencies, occupational health and safety, communication and team building and contract and procurement.

Nationally accredited training

MEGT Institute has a long successful history in providing training to both new and existing workers.  As a government approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO), MEGT Institute may be able to provide training through Government funding under the Traineeship banner.
