Training & Assessment

TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is a nationally recognised qualification
for all trainers and assessors working within the Australian Vocational Education and
Training sector. This qualification provides new and experienced trainers with the skills
and knowledge to operate effectively within the complex Australian training environment. 

You will learn how to:

• plan for and train others in the workplace
• effectively use the principles of adult education and competency-based training in coaching and developing others
• use the principles of assessment to identify and make accurate judgments about other’s competency level
• validate training and assessment tools used in assessment competency
• operate within a Registered Training Organisation.

MEGT Institute can also offer you the option to upgrade from the Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (BSZ40198) to the full TAA40104 qualification.

Skills Recognition

We understand that some people have been training and assessing in their current jobs or have completed other teaching and vocational training Qualifications or Degrees. If you think you may be eligible for Skills Recognition of your past education, work and life experience please talk to us about this option. You will be required to provide evidence of your current skills.

Nationally accredited training

MEGT Institute has a long successful history as a training provider to both new and existing workers. As a government approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO), MEGT Institute may be able to provide this training through Government funding under the Traineeship banner.
