MEGT Institute’s Travel and Tourism qualification focus on the hands-on skills required of a skilled operator within the Travel Industry.
For those who have a keen interest in the Travel Industry, our MEGT Institute course provides a combination of classroom learning and E-learning with practical sessions. This course qualifies you to become a skilled operator, able to apply a broad range of skills in a retail travel office or shop-front environment where planning of customers' travel and touring arrangements takes place.
Skills development includes issuing of tickets, using Galileo live on-line reservation and tour bookings system for domestic or international. What you do and see in class is exactly as it operates in a real travel agency. The Galileo qulaification is an internationally recognised qulaification.
You will also use the Cross Check Traveller accounting system - the most up-to-date travel accoutning system used in the tourism industry.

Students can be placed into work experience where they will have the ability to develop their theoretical skills in a practical environment. The knowledge and practice gained during work experience makes you more employable than others who have no hands-on experience.
Airfare and ticketing units covered during this course can lead to further AFTA (Australian Federation of Travel Agents) qualifications
