Facilities
MEGT Institute provides all the resources necessary to ensure that students have everything they need in order to learn efficiently. We also provide a modern campus environment so that students can study comfortably.
Student common area
MEGT Institute provides a recreation area for the use of students and their friends. This is an ideal place to enjoy a break. Its features include kitchen, food and drink machines, a study area and a balcony with views to the CBD.
Computer labs
We offer two labs with more than sixty internet connected computers. Students also enjoy access to a photocopier and printing facilities during office hours.
Learning resources
Students are provided with work books and training exercises. Resources are available to all students and includes text borrowing facilities and internet access. The institute provides the links between student and a wealth of research information via reference books and the internet.
Languages spoken by staff include – English, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish
Orientation program
A one day orientation program is provided for students on the Friday before classes start. On this day the students will receive all the relevant information about the school’s policies and operations and study information.The orientation program is compulsary.
Tutorial support
Classes are held to assist the student’s individual learning needs.
University placement
After successful completion of their course, many MEGT Institute students wish to continue their studies at an Australian University . Our University Placement Advisor will help you to gain entry to a university. We will guide you through the application process and advise you on the most suitable degree programme for your needs.
Counseling services
Our multi-lingual staff are available to assist with the welfare and pastoral care of all students studying at MEGT Institute. Students are able to discuss any issues or personal concerns that might arise during their studies. For matters relating directly to the course work, students are advised to speak to the academic staff. Counselling services are available by a qualified counselor by appointment.
