How to enrol
How you can enrol at MEGT Institute Sydney Campus
Ensure that you have read and understood all information in the brochure/website prior to enrolment including the Student Handbook, the Appendix to the Student Handbook. the Guidelines for Overseas Students and Policies and Procedures located within the Student Drop down menu.
It is important that all overseas students intending to study in Australia have an understanding of Australia's ESOS (Education Services for Overseas Students) Framework. A request for transfer to another training provider within the first six months may not be granted, subject to the guidelines of the ESOS National Code. Refer to our Transfer Request Assessment Policy and Procedures.
Fill in the application form available from MEGT Institute (email us for a form). . When completing your application, please make sure you complete all relevant sections to avoid delays in your enrolment. Tuition Fees 2010
The completed form can be submitted to a local agent, in person to our campus, by mail, by email or by fax. (If you do not have an application form email us via institute@megt.com.au).
Please include a certified copy of any academic transcripts or certificates that demonstrate you meet the requirements for your selected course.
Successful applicants will then receive:
- a letter of offer
- course acceptance agreement (to be signed and returned to MEGT Institute
(Example of the Agreement for overseas students)
- an invoice for fees
- an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment eCoE upon receipt of payment
Note: except in countries where Pre Visa Assessment Approval is necessary (check www.immi.gov.au)
Students aplying from overseas can apply for their student visa at an Australian Embassy or Consulate when they receive the Confirmation of Enrolment from MEGT Institute. Please contact MEGT Institute or your agent if you require further assistance with enrolments.
Fees can be paid directly to MEGT Institute by making payment to MEGT (Australia) Ltd or through your agent. We accept payment by:
- Bank Draft in Australian dollars
- Direct Bank Transfer in Australian dollars
- Credit card in Australian dollars
Skills Recognition (RPL, RCC, Credit Transfer)

In order to a Credit Transfer you need to provide certified copies of your original qualifications at the time of enrolment.
Applications for Skills Recognition ( RPL, RCC, Credit Transfer) should be submitted no later than 30 days prior to commencing the program (or upon application for enrolment if submitted within 30 days of course commencement).
The application must include evidence that will verify your competence and experience, such as copies of qualifications attained, statements of employment, or examples of work completed.
Overseas students are required to attend 20 contact hours per week. Please note that successful Skills Recognition application may result in the reduction of the course duration in which case DIAC will be notified.

By signing the MEGT Institute’s enrolment from, you are agreeing to abide by the following enrolment conditions.
All courses offered by MEGT Institute are subject to entry requirements. International students are required to meet the English and academic requirements as set out in each course outline, and may need to undergo an English skills test before enrolment.
All students are required to meet the academic requirements as set out in the course outline and in accordance with the MEGT Institute Monitoring Course Progress policy and procedures. To avoid risk of failing to satisfactorily complete the course requirements, MEGT Institute requires students to attend a minimum of 70% of all learning activities, as well as full attendance at assessments and work placement/practicum or required internship.
Students are required to pay fees on time as per MEGT invoices. A student who completes a course but has not paid all the fees for that course will not be issued with their transcripts or qualifications until such monies have been paid in full. Refer to the MEGT Institute Fees Charges and Refunds Policy.
Timetables and course structures are subject to change at any time without notice.
Students should respect the rights of other students and trainers and actively contribute to a constructive learning environment.
Student should understand that they are governed by both the educational goals of MEGT Institute and the laws of Australia.
Privacy policy:
MEGT Institute is bound by Information Privacy Principles and our obligations under the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 and the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000. Our Privacy Policy shows the way in which we use and protect your personal information.
School age dependants:
If you are intending to come to Australia with school age dependants, you will be required to pay the full fees for their compulsory schooling.
